Night

October 22 – December 14, 2025

The Crest City Art Center invites the public to immerse themselves in an interactive and playful exhibition dedicated to the world of the night and its mysteries. In a poetic atmosphere, young and old alike are invited to a sensitive and scientific exploration in the heart of nature.

Designed by the National Museum of Natural History and designed by municipal services, this exhibition benefits from the support of the Aix-en-Provence Natural History Museum for the loan of stuffed animals. It offers a true nocturnal stroll around the natural phenomenon of the night: observing the starry sky, meeting the animals of twilight, and inviting you to sleep and dream.

Combining astronomy, biology, and anthropology, the exhibition mobilizes a variety of scientific knowledge while engaging the senses and imagination of visitors. An immersive adventure to experience with family or friends.

Bruno Catalano – Joint Crossing

June 21 – October 5, 2025

In Bruno Catalano’s career, art emerges from the experimentation of a technique and a material.

Thus, his practice took a new turn in 2004, when a metal casting accident opened a breach both in the body of a sculpture and in the artist’s habits. He then decided to make this tearing of the material a central element of his production: the Voyageurs series began.
Bruno Catalano practices the sculptor’s craft in the fullest sense of the term, in direct contact with the physical matter that constitutes his works as well as with the intangible matter that shapes human existence.

Conceived as a scenographic gesture and an educational journey, the exhibition demonstrates the omnipresence of matter at all stages of the creation and fabrication of sculptures. It immerses the visitor in the heart of the artist’s creative process and reveals the collective work behind his work, paying tribute to the various partners in the region who contribute to its production and influence. This journey reveals the multiple stages in the life of clay, plaster, wax, and bronze. These elements become, in the sculptor’s hands, a source of emotion.

Exhibition curator: Studio Bruno Catalano (Émilie Catalano and Lou-Justin Tailhades)
Scenography: EBB. Global and Studio Catalano
Exhibition organization support: Pôle culture et animation de la ville, Ville de Crest

AN URBAN JOURNEY

Bruno Catalano’s monumental sculptures invite you on a journey and are revealed in Crest… all the way to Valence, on Place de la Liberté and at the Valence-TGV train station in Alixan.
